I'm writing an O'Reilly book
And I want to give you an early sneak peek
Hey everyone,
Quick update that I’ve been sitting on for a while: I’m writing a book! O’Reilly reached out last year and asked if I’d be interested in turning a lot of what I’ve been
writing about (and teaching) into something more structured. The result is AI Product Management: Build, Evaluate, and Ship Successful AI Products, from Prototype to
Production
If you’ve been reading this Substack, a lot of the ideas will feel familiar. The difference is that the book goes deeper on themes I’ve already been writing about. There are in depth walkthroughs for setting up your own coding agent, building an AI agent from scratch running teardowns of products like Cursor and Claude Code, and building eval
frameworks that actually work in production. The chapters are hands-on and longer form in a way that’s hard to do in a weekly post.
The book covers 5 foundational areas:
I. AI Product Foundations - AI product sense & scaling laws for PMs
II. Building AI Products - prototyping an agent from scratch
III. Evaluation - building eval frameworks & production feedback loops
IV. Strategy and Scaling - getting your org AI-pilled
V. Staying Ahead of the Curve - continuous learning & collaboration
The book is in early release right now, which means chapters are going out as I write them (raw and unedited, because this space moves too fast to sit on a finished
manuscript for 6 months). O’Reilly gave me a promo code for free access, which I’m sharing here first: https://learning.oreilly.com/get-learning/?code=APM26
You can sign up for O’Reilly learning platform, and then search for the title “AI Product Management” to access the E-Book. This is the link directly to the title once you’ve signed up:

A huge thank you to everyone giving input and feedback along the way: Tal Raviv , Eric Xiao , Peter Yang , Lenny Rachitsky , Hilary Gridley, Hamel Husain, Chip Huyen, Sachin Rekhi Colin Matthews and many others. And to the O’Reilly team (Angela Rufino, David Michelson, Nicole Butterfield) for making this happen.
More to come as I keep writing. If there are topics you want me to cover or go deeper on, reply to this email. I’m genuinely building this in the open.

I'm getting this error code as well, Aman
"This code can no longer be redeemed."
Is there limited seats or something like that?
I love the concept. not just the product manager role but we can become solopreneurs. This book is urgently needed. will read this today. Thanks Aman for sharing this and for your work on this book
